D's Birthday was yesterday, so last night we all gathered for a Pumpkin Carving Party to celebrate.I brought along a dozen chocolate and a dozen pumpkin cupcakes with cream cheese frosting on both (all recipes from VCTOTW).
We also all enjoyed a bunch of roasted pumpkin seeds made from the guts of all our pumpkins. With a good sprinkle of salt of course.
Here's one of each of the cupcakes atop E's cute cute creation. A silly pumpkin guy with a talk bubble to his side saying, "who's there". Supposed to be said in a scared voice says E.
I wanted to carve a cat face. I did just that, but with creepier results than anticipated.
One pumpkin was so large it just had to make it's rounds and get to know everybody a little better.Here's Pumpkin Head E for example.

I like both the faces but I love the kitty one the most and that you guys wore a pumpkin on your heads!
I have never, ever carved a pumpkin, maybe this Halloween I should try!
